University of Florida establishing a state-of-the-art veterinary centre at the World Equine Center in Ocala, Florida . I was fortunate to be involved in the planning of this facility while working at UF. This promises to be one of the leading equine sports medicine and rehabilitation facilities in the world. The hospital will also include a small animal facility. Imaging equipment includes a standing CT scanner, MRI, PET Scanner, thermography, along with traditional ultrasound and digital radiography. The veterinary facility is scheduled to open around May 2022.
